Description:

Inspired by the English countryside, Blount Cultural Park combines art, architecture and nature to create a picturesque outdoor environment for picnics, festivals, special events, as well as music, dance and theatrical performances. With an inventive Shakespeare Garden, featuring plants and flowers from Shakespeare's plays, the park also offers walking trails, an amphitheater, a vast collection of sculpture pieces and countless other attractions. The park, which is home to the Alabama Shakespeare Festival and Montgomery Museum of Fine Art is located 15 minutes southeast of downtown, between Woodmere Park and Ida Belle Young Park.
