Offering great educational experiences for children and adults alike, W. A. Gayle Planetarium has been enthralling area audiences since 1969. Now offering laser light shows, as well as daily star-gazing presentations, this 200-seat facility is one of the largest planetariums between Atlanta and New Orleans. It is located in Oak Park, just northeast of Alabama State University.
Open Mon. - Thurs. 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.; Fri. 7:30 a.m. - noon.
General admission $3.50; Seniors (65+) $2; Children 4 and under are free.
