An open-air museum interpreting central Alabama’s history, Old Alabama Town features 40 restored 19th and early 20th century buildings, including a cotton gin, a one-room school house, a doctor's office and several Greek Revival cottages. Old Alabama Town also offers costumed docents to interpret life during the time period. Spread across six city blocks in downtown Montgomery, the neighborhood is located just east of Riverwalk Stadium.
